| Obverse description | Salmon-tinted Notgeld note with a dark green ornamental border enclosing acanthus-scroll panels at left and right. At centre, an octagonal frame with radiating sunburst lines contains a large red reproduction of the oldest municipal seal of Freienwalde, inscribed in a circular legend and dated 1338, set against a guilloche-style surround of dotted rules. The denomination '25' in bold red numerals appears in a cartouche at lower left, above the word 'PFENNIG'. A validity notice in Gothic script occupies the upper-right panel, and the serial number is printed in black at lower left below the issuer's signature panel reading 'DER MAGISTRAT'. |
