| Obverse description | Printed in dark red on cream paper, the note is framed by a decorative border of pine branches and pine cones, with the denomination numeral '25' in each corner within circular cartouches. The centre panel, set against a light floral underprint, carries the denomination '25 Pfennig' in large Gothic blackletter script flanked by scrollwork, with the issuer name 'Gemeinde Hermsdorf S.A.' below in matching type. A small vignette of a ceramic kiln or industrial furnace appears at the top centre, and a ladder vignette is placed at the lower centre, both alluding to the local porcelain industry; two columns of legal text in German Fraktur script occupy the lower portion. |
