| Obverse description | The obverse is printed on a beige-toned paper with a decorative border of repeating oval and dot motifs in brown and ochre. The text is rendered throughout in Gothic Fraktur script; the denomination numeral "25" appears at upper left and upper right, flanking the central legend "Gutschein der Stadt Schleiz" and the value spelled out in large calligraphic lettering as "Fünfundzwanzig Pfennige."
