| Obverse description | Green and black letterpress note printed on cream paper, with an overall diamond-pattern guilloche underprint filling the field. At centre, a decorative cartouche in Jugendstil style bears the issuer's name in Gothic blackletter script above the denomination '25 Pfennig' in a dark panel, flanked by ornate foliate scrollwork and grape-cluster vignettes. To the left, an embossed dry seal of the City of Weinheim appears within a circular wreath, while to the right a bold numeral '25' with the legend 'PFENNIG' is set within a second circular guilloche frame; the lower cartouche carries the validity clause, place and date 'Weinheim, 23. April 1919', the issuing authority 'Der Gemeinderat', and a manuscript signature, with the printer's imprint along the lower margin. |
