| Obverse description | Light cream paper with an overall fine guilloche underprint in pale green. The upper panel bears the issuer legend 'Stadt St. Wendel' in a dark decorative cartouche, beneath which the word 'Gutschein' is set in large blackletter script. The denomination 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' occupies the central field in bold Gothic lettering, flanked on each side by the numeral '25' within ornate foliate borders. The date and place of issue, a validity clause, the title 'Der Stadtbürgermeister', and a manuscript signature appear in the lower portion. |
