| Obverse description | Blue-black letterpress on cream paper with a fine stippled guilloche underprint. A bold central cartouche carries the large Gothic-script denomination "Pfennig" beneath the numeral "25" set within an arched panel at top centre; flanking scrollwork borders frame the cartouche on all sides. The issuer name "Gutschein der Gemeinde Weißwasser O. Lausitz" appears in the upper field in Fraktur script, while the lower field gives the validity date "Gültig bis zum 31 Dezember 1920", the note designation "Zweite Ausgabe", the authorisation line "Der Gemeindevorsteher / Der Kassierer", and a serial number at foot. |
