| Obverse description | Plain brown-toned note printed in dark brown and red letterpress on buff paper, enclosed within a rectangular border of small square ornaments. The issuer's name 'Stadtgemeinde Allendorf (Werra).' appears in bold Fraktur script at the top, underlined by two red parallel rules. A central text block in Fraktur states the payment obligation of the Stadtkasse, followed by the denomination spelled out as 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig.' in bold Fraktur. The numeral denomination '25 Pfennig.' is printed in large red Fraktur numerals at the centre, flanked on each side by triple red rule ornaments, with the invalidity notice 'Ungültig nach dem 31.
