| Obverse description | Brown on pale underprint. The upper-left quadrant bears the municipal coat of arms of Wesel, an eagle surmounting a shield, rendered as a small vignette. A large central guilloche rosette in dark brown carries the bold white numeral '25' flanked on either side by cartouches inscribed 'PFENNIG'. The denomination numeral '25' appears in circular devices at all four corners, and the issuing legend runs across the upper portion of the note above the central vignette. A serial number and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister appear along the lower margin. |

| Reverse description | Brown on pale guilloche underprint. The central vignette presents the crowned eagle of Wesel's civic arms, wings spread and perched above an ornate cartouche, rendered in fine line engraving. The issuer name 'STADT WESEL' is divided across the upper field to either side of the eagle. Two circular guilloche rosettes flank the central panel at left and right, each bearing the numeral '25'. A horizontal text band at centre reads the redemption notice, and 'PFENNIG' legends with corner denomination numerals complete the design. |
