| Obverse description | Central vignette of a seated allegorical female figure with a globe and book, set within an elaborate guilloche frame. The arms of El Salvador appear in an oval cartouche to the left, with the denomination numeral 25 in dark ornamental panels at right and at each lower corner. The issuer's title EL BANCO SALVADOREÑO arches across the top, with place and date inscriptions reading San Salvador and 1º de Febrero de 1919, and a red SPECIMEN overprint across the center. |
