Reverse description A large, ornate Royal Crown of Spain occupies the upper portion of the field, rendered in fine detail with a beaded arch, jeweled bands, and a cross surmounting the cap. Below the crown, the denomination 25 PTAS is inscribed in bold incuse lettering across the center of the field. The Madrid mint mark, a crowned M, appears in small relief directly beneath the denomination at the base of the design. The entire composition is framed by a beaded inner rim.
