Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara and pearl necklace, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The portrait is of the fourth definitive type used on Saint Helena coinage. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs above to the left, and ST. HELENA curves to the right of the effigy, with the date 2013 positioned below the bust truncation.

Reverse description The reverse features a central colour-printed panoramic scene depicting an episode from the Napoleonic Wars, with mounted cavalry and infantry soldiers in battle formation rendered in vivid detail.
