| Obverse description | Central field features a bold Ottoman-style tughra-like calligraphic inscription in Arabic script, reading the name and title of the Republic of Turkey, rendered in an ornate flowing style occupying most of the field. A stylized crescent-shaped decorative element sweeps across the right side of the design, terminating at upper right in a naturalistic ear of wheat. The Hijri date ١٣٤١ (1341 AH) appears in the lower portion of the field beneath the calligraphy. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed border. |

| Reverse description | The denomination numeral ٢٥ (25) in large Arabic-script digits dominates the upper central field, with the denomination word غروش (Kurush) inscribed in smaller calligraphic Arabic script immediately below. To the right, a detailed sprig of oak leaves with an acorn provides an elegant naturalistic motif. The crescent and star emblem of the Turkish Republic is positioned above the numeral near the upper field. The design is framed by a finely toothed border. |
