| Obverse description | The brass centre displays the numeral '25' in large characters, within the contours of which a marten is depicted running to the right — a reference to the etymological origin of the kuna currency. Below the numeral, the denomination inscription 'KUNA' appears in the field. In the lower portion of the copper-nickel ring, the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Croatia is centrally placed, flanked by a laurel branch to the left and an oak branch to the right. The upper arc of the ring bears the legend 'REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA' (Republic of Croatia). |
