| Obverse description | Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, surmounted by a single Imperial crown topped with a cross. The eagle bears a shield on its breast and holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left, with decorative ribbons flowing beneath the wings. The mintmaster's initials НГ (Nikolai Gubein) appear below the eagle flanked by six-pointed stars, with the date in large numerals at the bottom of the field. The whole is encircled by a beaded border. |
