Czechoslovakia's aluminum coinage of the early 1960s was a direct product of the 1960 constitution, which renamed the state the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and prompted a comprehensive reissue of circulating denominations to reflect the new political branding. The 25 haléřů was among the denominations retooled for this ideological refresh, though its short three-year run suggests it was never a particularly efficient denomination in daily commerce.
