| Obverse description | Black letterpress on orange guilloche underprint. The bank title 'DE CURAÇAOSCHE BANK' is set in a large arched banner across the centre, above the bearer clause 'betaalt aan Toonder' and the bold denomination 'VIJF EN TWINTIG GULDEN'. The note is framed by an elaborate geometric border with diamond and chevron motifs, the numeral '25' repeated in each corner, and the denomination in full printed vertically along both side margins. |
