| Obverse description | Central field features a stylised watch escapement wheel with four rounded spokes, at the hub of which is an eight-pointed compass rose enclosed within a graduated circular bezel. Cardinal direction initials (E, S, W, N) are distributed between the spokes of the wheel. The denomination '25 FR' appears in large numerals in the lower field, flanked by the lower arc of the escapement wheel.
