| Obverse description | Three Giant Eland (Taurotragus derbianus) depicted in left-facing profile, their elongated, spirally twisted horns dramatically overlapping and filling the upper field. The animals are rendered in fine relief with naturalistic detail, conveying movement and depth. The circular legend BANQUE DES ETATS DE L'AFRIQUE CENTRALE runs along the periphery, and the date appears in the lower field flanked by two dots.
