| Reverse description | A competitive road cyclist in a aerodynamic racing position is depicted in high relief at center-left, astride a racing bicycle viewed from a slight front angle, set against a deeply frosted field. The inscription OLYMPISCHE SPELEN arches across the upper field, with the commemorative dates 1896·1996 below it, celebrating the centenary of the modern Olympic Games. To the lower right, the denomination ARUBA 25 FLORIN is inscribed in bold block capitals. The date 1995 appears in the exergue, flanked by the Utrecht mint mark and the mintmaster's privy mark. |

Aruba's Olympic issues from the mid-1990s were produced in two distinct variants: one carrying the official Atlanta 1996 Olympic logo under license, and one without it. This is the unlicensed version — almost certainly the result of either a licensing dispute or a cost decision made late in the production planning, since securing ACOG authorization for commercial coin programs carried fees that small island territories routinely declined.
