Obverse description Central field depicts a flying bat in profile facing left, rendered in relief against a smooth background. Above the bat, the denomination appears in Latin script as '25 fils' and directly below in Arabic numerals and script '٢٥ فيلس'. The circular legend 'SULTANATE OF PEMBA - 2013' runs along the lower border of the inner field. The octagonal coin is framed by a decorative Greek-key meander border following the eight sides of the coin.

Reverse description Central device consists of a stylized multi-layered starburst or rosette motif composed of concentric radiating lines, with a small cartouche bearing Arabic calligraphic inscription at its center. Below the central device, the Arabic legend 'پمباه' (Pemba) appears in the lower field, with the Arabic date '٢٠١٣' below it. The entire design is contained within a plain inner border following the octagonal shape of the coin, with no additional decorative rim.
