| Obverse description | The violet-coloured niobium centre depicts a detailed clock face bearing Roman numerals I through XII and featuring two ornate clock hands at the centre. Between the hour markers, all twelve astrological zodiac symbols are arranged in relief around the dial. The silver ring surrounding the niobium core carries minute graduations (35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 5) along its inner edge, with mechanical gear-work motifs visible in the lower right portion of the ring. The legends REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH, 25 EURO, and the date 2016 are inscribed in the silver ring, distributed around the circumference. |
