| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular silver coin features the papal arms of Pope Francis rendered in a bold, stylized graphic design: the crossed Keys of Saint Peter and the pontifical tiara are depicted centrally, overlaid by the IHS Christogram set within a radiant sunburst. A six-pointed star appears in the upper left field and a papal pinecone ornament in the upper right. Below the central emblem, the papal motto MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO is inscribed in the lower central field, flanked by two square vignettes.
