| Obverse description | The Armenian National Coat of Arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield supported by an eagle and a lion, with a sword and a branch below, all rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field. The circular legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ (Republic of Armenia) runs along the upper periphery in Armenian script.
