| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia at centre, depicting a sailing ship approaching a shoreline beneath a palm tree, with a rising sun in the background and a plough in the foreground, all within a shield surmounted by a dove. A ribbon scroll below the shield bears the legend REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA, while the national motto THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE arcs across the upper interior of the arms. The outer legend REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA runs along the upper periphery, the date 2020 is divided at either side of the central device, and the denomination 25 DOLLARS appears prominently along the lower rim. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a naturalistic branch bearing olive-like foliage and fruit occupying the right portion of the field, accompanied by a stylised crystallographic lattice structure to the left, representing the orthorhombic crystal system of peridot. A genuine peridot gemstone cabochon is inset at the lower centre of the field, displaying its characteristic yellow-green colour. The legend PERIDOT arcs along the upper border, while the inscription 1/2 G .9999 FINEST GOLD curves along the lower exergual area, certifying the coin's gold content and purity. |
