| Obverse description | The stylized coat of arms of Liberia occupies the central field, rendered within a circular surround of swirling foliate relief work. The quartered shield displays the characteristic Liberian heraldic charges: five horizontal stripes, a heart, an anchor, and a dove. Surrounding the central device, the field is filled with an elaborate pattern of circular geometric mandala rosettes in varying sizes, interspersed with finely detailed feather-like foliate borders at the coin's periphery.
