Reverse description The reverse presents a dynamic commemorative composition dedicated to Operation Desert Storm. In the upper field, an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter is depicted in three-quarter view in flight, with weapons systems visible beneath its stub wings. Below the helicopter, a formation of military vehicles occupies the middle ground, including main battle tanks and a stealth aircraft. Naval vessels, including a warship and a submarine, are rendered in the lower field along a stylised horizon line. The legend DESERT STORM arcs along the upper border, flanked by a ring of five-pointed stars; the motto IN GOD WE TRUST and a Roman numeral V appear to the left field, with LIBERTY inscribed to the right, and the date 1991 together with a mint mark R appear in the exergue.
