Additional information

The Principality of Hutt River was a self-declared micronation in Western Australia, established in 1970 by Leonard Casley following a dispute with the state government over wheat production quotas. It was never recognized by Australia or any sovereign nation. This coin, like the broader Hutt River numismatic program, was issued primarily as a revenue mechanism — collector sales, not circulation, were always the point.

The F-15E Strike Eagle entered USAF service in 1988, making this a timely subject for the souvenir military aviation series popular with Franklin Mint-era private mints in the early 1990s.
