| Reverse description | A single gold-plated ladybug is depicted in high relief at the upper centre of the field, its gilded elytra displaying black spots and rendered with fine naturalistic detail, the head and legs left in blackened silver. The entire field is covered with an elaborate, symmetrical interlocking pattern of stylised floral and clover rosettes executed in contrasting matte and proof finishes against a blackened ground, creating a rich mandala-like decorative background. The engraver's initials and the LGM mint mark appear in small characters at the lower centre of the field. |
