Obverse description The central device features the coat of arms of Belize, depicting a shield charged with woodcutting tools and a sailing vessel, supported by two shirtless woodcutters, each bearing an axe, and surmounted by a mahogany tree. The shield bears the motto ribbon inscribed SUB UMBRA FLOREO at its base. The composition is framed by an ornamental wreath of laurel branches. The country name BELIZE arcs along the upper legend, while the denomination 25 DOLLARS and the date 1992 are inscribed to the left and right respectively, all within a beaded border.
