| Obverse description | The coin is struck in the distinctive cartouche shape of an Egyptian funerary mask. The right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait, occupies the lower central field, with a diademed and draped bust. The legend arcs around the effigy reading 'ELIZABETH II' to the left and 'SOLOMON ISLANDS' to the upper right, with '25 DOLLARS' to the right.
