Obverse description The third-portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, engraved by Raphael David Maklouf, depicting the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem, drop earrings, and a pearl necklace. The legend COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1992 appears in the lower field. The truncation of the bust is clearly defined, and the entire design is framed by a fine beaded border.

Reverse description Two West Indian flamingos are depicted facing each other in the central field, their sinuously curved necks forming a graceful S-shape above a rising sun set over stylised water. Tropical foliage and aquatic plants flank the base of the composition on either side. The denomination legend TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS arcs along the upper periphery in raised lettering, and the entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
