Reverse description A finely engraved three-quarter view of the de Havilland DH.106 Comet, the world's first commercial jet airliner, depicted in flight over a mountainous landscape rendered in low relief. The curved legend DE HAVILLAND COMET arcs across the upper field, while the denomination 25 DOLLARS appears in two lines at the lower left in bold relief against the mirrored proof surface.
