| Obverse description | Central design depicts a large bald eagle in dynamic flight, wings outstretched, adapted from Augustus Saint-Gaudens' celebrated reverse design of the 1907 U.S. Double Eagle. Radiating sunburst rays emanate from below the eagle in the lower field. A small incuse portrait effigy of King Charles III appears within a semicircular device at the bottom centre of the field, accompanied by designer initials. The word COPY is inscribed in the field beneath the eagle's body. The arc legend A TRIBUTE TO THE UNITED STATES curves along the upper rim, with COOK ISLANDS · TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS inscribed below it in a secondary arc. |
