At centre-top, Odin is enthroned and armoured, flanked by his ravens Huginn and Muninn; to his left stands Heimdall bearing a spear, and to his right the half-living, half-skeletal Hel. In the mid-field, a wild-bearded Loki reclines centrally, while Thor strides forward to the left wielding his hammer, and Freyr appears at lower centre accompanied by his golden boar Gullinbursti and ram. The entire composition is framed by an intricately engraved Celtic knotwork border, with the arcing legend NORSE GODS inscribed along the upper periphery within the border. |
