Obverse description The coat of arms of the Episcopal Co-Prince of Andorra occupies the left side of the field, surmounted by an episcopal crown. The quartered shield displays the traditional mitre and crosier of the Bishopric of Urgell in the upper-left quarter and horizontal stripes in the upper-right, with the arms of Catalonia (four red pallets) in the lower-left and two cattle in the lower-right quarter. To the right of the arms, the legend reads JOAN D.M. BISBE D'URGELL I PRINCEP D'ANDORRA in five lines. The denomination 25 D. appears in large characters at the bottom of the field.
