Reverse description Central device features the Shir-o-Khorshid (Lion and Sun) emblem in its solar form: a radiant sun with numerous straight rays emanating from a frontal human face with flowing hair, rendered in a neoclassical style associated with the Qajar court. Above the sun disc, a Qajar crown is prominently displayed at the apex. The central device is framed by an ornate wreath of olive and oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, identical in style to the obverse. The date ١٢٨١ (1281 AH) is inscribed in the lower field between the wreath and the toothed border.
