Obverse description Die-struck brass trade token with a plain field bearing the issuer legend in raised relief. The circular legend around the periphery reads SWENSON BROS. and MORGANVILLE, KANS., while the central field carries the legend GEN'L MERCHANDISE in two lines, flanked above and below by small decorative rosette devices. The entire design is bordered by a continuous beaded inner ring.
