| Obverse description | The obverse presents a high-relief figural group depicting a male Pilgrim, clad in period attire including a broad-brimmed hat, collar, and doublet, standing prominently in the left field, with a female Pilgrim in a coif and plain dress clasping his arm at right, both figures gazing forward in contemplation of the New World. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM arcs along the upper legend, while IN GOD WE TRUST curves along the lower field. The dual commemorative dates 1776 ~ 2026 appear in the lower central exergual area, flanking the figures. Designer initials RS appear at the left field and EC at the right, with the mint mark P positioned at the upper right field. |
