Obverse description Letterpress-printed obligation on plain paper, with the text directing the Treasurer of the Huntingdon, Cambria and Indiana Turnpike Road Company to pay the bearer on demand the sum of Twenty Five Cents. The note is dated April 22, 1816, and bears the attested signatures of David Stewart as Secretary and Jno. Blair as President, with the imprint of Murray, Draper, Fairman & Co. at the lower margin.
