| Reverse description | The reverse reproduces the classic wreath design originally engraved by Ago Aarand, commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Canadian 25-cent piece. A crown surmounts the composition at the top of the field, while a symmetrical wreath of maple leaves frames the central inscriptions. Within the wreath, the denomination 25 CENTS appears at the top, followed by CANADA, with the commemorative date span 1908-1998 at the base. The wreath is tied at the bottom with a ribbon bow, and the entire design is bordered by a fine beaded inner rim. |
