| Additional information |
Part of the Royal Canadian Mint's Millennium Series, this issue was one of twelve themed 25-cent pieces released across 1999 and 2000, each assigned to a different month. "Pride" was the September 2000 release. The silver versions were sold in collector sets while the base-metal circulation strikes reached pockets; the silver variant saw limited distribution and was never intended for everyday use.
