Obverse description Youthful right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara and pearl drop earrings, with truncation visible at the base of the neck. The legend 'BERMUDA' arcs along the left field and 'ELIZABETH II' along the right field. The portrait is rendered in the second definitive effigy by Arnold Machin, characteristic of Commonwealth coinage of the period. The coin's proof finish imparts sharp relief and a mirrored field.
