Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, depicted at approximately 64 years of age, wearing the George IV State Diadem, a necklace, and earrings, as executed by engraver Ago Aarand. The truncation of the bust is sharply defined, and the queen's mature portrait displays refined sculptural detail. The legend arcs around the upper periphery reading ELIZABETH II D•G•REGINA, with the denomination 25 CENTS positioned in the lower field. A beaded border frames the design.
