Obverse description The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modeled by Ago Aarand after the portrait by Dora de Pédery-Hunt, depicted in right-facing profile wearing a diamond diadem and pearl drop earrings. The Queen's effigy is rendered with fine detail characteristic of proof coinage. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left and left fields, while D·G·REGINA curves along the upper right field. The denomination 25 CENTS appears in the lower field beneath the portrait. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
