| Reverse description | The reverse displays a boldly rendered left-facing bust of a caribou, its large palmated antlers extending prominently across the upper field, as designed by Emanuel Otto Hahn. The denomination 25 CENTS is inscribed within the arc formed by the antlers in the central field. The legend CANADA arcs along the left periphery, and the date 1968 is positioned vertically along the right field. The engraver's initial H appears at the lower centre near the coin's rim, and a fine beaded border encircles the entire design. |
