| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Barbados Coat of Arms centrally positioned in the field, comprising the golden shield bearing the bearded fig tree, flanked by a dolphin to the dexter and a pelican to the sinister, both symbolic of the island's maritime heritage and natural history. Two Pride of Barbados blossoms flank the shield, while above rests a helmet with mantling surmounted by a crest depicting an arm and hand holding two crossed sugar canes, emblematic of the historic sugar industry.
