Obverse description A naturalistic sprig of orange blossom (Citrus sinensis), bearing a central fruit, open flowers, and radiating leaves, is depicted in high relief at the centre of the coin, contained within a raised inner circle. The circumscription NEDERLANDSE ANTILLEN runs along the upper periphery in Latin lettering, separated from the central device by a recessed annular band. Two privy marks of the Royal Dutch Mint appear at the base of the design, flanking the stem of the plant; these marks vary by year of issue.
