| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II at approximately 77 years of age, bareheaded, wearing a necklace and earrings, as sculpted by Susan Taylor. The legend ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script. The portrait is rendered in a naturalistic style with fine detail in the facial features and jewelry. The field is flat and unadorned, framing the bust cleanly. |
