Obverse description Draped bust of Liberty facing right, with flowing hair rendered in fine relief, occupying the central field. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper periphery, and the date 1792 appears in the lower exergual area. The portrait, attributed to engraver Joseph Wright, displays a classical neoclassical style with naturalistic facial modeling. A raised rim frames the entire design, consistent with proof pattern production.
