| Obverse description | Letterpress-printed note on cream paper with a rectangular border of small repeating square ornaments enclosing all text. The issuer name 'Ayuntamiento de UBEDA' appears in bold across the upper portion, below which 'BILLETE FRACCIONARIO DE ESTA LOCALIDAD' is set in spaced capitals; the denomination 'Veinticinco Céntimos' is rendered in large bold type at centre. The date 'Ubeda 1-3-937' is placed at lower left alongside the facsimile signature of the mayor 'El Alcalde, BLAS DUARTE' at lower right, with a circular violet validation stamp applied over the centre field; a caution note reading 'Nota: Este billete no es valedero si va doblado' runs along the bottom margin. |
